Background

I have always been a keen mathematician since my early school days. First taking the then O level a year early, and then the full A level a year early as well. Both passed with grade A's. I went on to study Mathematics at the University of London. Gaining my BSc in 1989.I enjoy problem solving and bringing a developed understanding out in my students. I can teach students to GCSE and A level in "Pure Core", "Mechanics" and "Statistics". Further Maths A level is covered too by arrangement, but as the courses are so diverse its worth contacting me for a discussion first. I will work at the pace set by the student to ensure that the basic understanding is firmly in place before tackling the more challenging parts of the syllabus. But I am happy to tackle only the students difficulties if that's preferred. For face to face tutoring, I will travel up to 10 miles from Witney town centre, perhaps further by prior arrangement.

Rates

Since Lockdown 1 I have been primarily tutoring on line via the zoom platform. Whilst I thought this would be less effective, over the last three years I have now completed close to 3500 hours of On Line tutoring and recommend this to all new students.

This is my preferred method. Face to face tutoring incorporates travel time and expenses. Discounts are available for long term contracts, please feel free to contact me to discuss
